Opening Hours: The Visitor Information Centre is now open daily. See opening hours displayed at the Centre. A wide variety of services are available including broadband access, coloured photocopying!
Refuse & Recycling Collection: The next dates for the Community Refuse/Recycling will be every Thursday  from 10am to 11am. at West End Community Hall.
Recycling Bags available at Information Office, Price €3 per bag. Only bags with the tag on will be accepted. Refuse €6 per bag.
Whist every Thursday evening from 8pm in the Club.
Taekwon-do:  Classes held in Castlegregory on Thursdays at 4pm in the Community Centre West End Anybody interested please phone Barry on 087-9837252.
A change in times for art classes.  Adults on Monday’s only, morning’s, 11 - 1pm, and 7 - 9pm. Children’s classes on Thursday’s 5.30pm - 7pm.
Maharees Coastcare Group: A new local group in the Maharees is being set up under An Taisce’s Clean Coasts programme to help enhance our local coastline. If you are interested in becoming involved please come along to any of the beach clean-ups which will take place throughout the spring and summer. Dates below.
Meeting point for all clean-ups is at Dumps (Maherabeg Cut). Clean-ups will be run from 11am – 2pm, come along and join in any time. Bags, gloves and pickers provided. For more information contact Rose Spillane on 087-6790822.

The Brandon Bay Surf Classic 2012 Castlegregory, with the Irish Surfing Association (ISA), will be held on the 31st March – 1st April. 120 ISA competitors are expected to attend the event. As this is the first large scale surfing competition ever held in the south west of Ireland, it should attract a large number of spectators. A marquee will be set up in Spillane’s Carpark showcasing Local crafts, environmental & surfing expos and lots more.

West Kerry Table Quiz in aid of Children’s Hospital Crumlin will be held on  Friday 6th April in the clubrooms in Castlegregory @ 8-30 pm. Teams of four €20. Please support.
Castlegregory Community Council ltd would like to congratulate the parish youth council on the success of their youth mass on Saturday night, it was lovely to see the young people of our parish getting involved in the community, hopefully it will inspire others to do the same.
