The inaugural Dingle Peninsula People Of The Year Awards were held in McCarthy’s Bar in Dingle last Saturday evening 17th January.
On the night, awards crafted by Dingle Crystal were presented to those chosen in each of the five categories with all the nominees

It is that time of year again to make marmalade. I know this because if you visit the your local greengrocer you will see plenty of Seville oranges on the shelves. These bitter oranges are perfect for making marmalade but they have a very short season and if you miss them you won’t see them until this time next year.
Glad to see that a number of groups around town have been active in their own areas over the past while.
